Caring for mamas throughout their motherhood journey is truly an honor and such a joy!
The prenatal chiropractic analysis and adjustments performed on expecting mothers is well-known as the Webster Technique.
All of the doctors at our practice are certified in the Webster Technique by the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association.
The Webster Technique is a specific chiropractic analysis and adjustment for pregnant mothers that reduces interference to the nervous system and balances pelvic muscles and ligaments. This adjustment optimizes uterine function and allows for a safer, easier birth for mom and baby.
It is a gentle method of adjusting a mother’s pelvis in order to reduce uterine constraint and allow the baby to move freely into the best position possible for birth. The more balanced a mother’s pelvis structurally — the more expansion is allowed of the uterus and therefore the baby has the advantage of more room to naturally assume a safe and easier position and lay.
Simply stated, a balanced pelvis, healthy nervous system and optimally positioned baby make for an easier, safer labor and delivery.
