Different types of breath work can be a great way to bring ease to your nervous system and mind.If you haven’t trained yourself how to breathe properly, your neck and shoulder muscles may be working overtime to help expand your ribcage.
Crocodile breathing helps engage your diaphragm, which is our most efficient muscle of respiration.
-Lay on your stomach, with your forehead resting on your hands.
-Locate where your body is expanding with your breath
-If you feel your upper body moving, focus on expanding the breath from your stomach
Optional: Put a pillow under your legs or hips to decrease tension on your low back!
